You will now have to use this tutorial in order to perform a tethered jailbreak on your AppleTV 4.4.3. Remember that since this is a tethered jailbreak you will have to perform the 3 tethered jailbreak steps at the bottom of this tutorial every time you power off your AppleTV(so make sure to leave it powered if you don’t want to have to connect it to your computer).

A few months ago we wrote a tutorial on how to install IceFilms XMBC plugin that allows you to stream Movies and TV Shows to your AppleTV. It came to our attention from our readers that there are sometimes issues with IceFilms streaming videos. Apparently this is due to the IceFilms server having issues for one reason or anther.
Here is how you can fix the problem:
Step 1: Download this alternate version of default.py
Step 2: SSH into your AppleTV and locate the IceFilms XMBC plugin directory plugin.video.icefilms
- For Apple TV 2G it will be located in /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.icefilms/
- For Apple TV 1G it will be located in /mnt/Scratch/Users/frontrow/Library/ApplicationSupport/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.icefilms/
